A Tea Party

Is it time for the next Boston Tea Party? Many folks think so, including a group, New American Tea Party, of which I tend to agree with.

The recent spending bill, along with the two or three bailout bills, with the 2010 proposed budget spending, President Obama and the Democrat controlled congress is taking us into places this country has never gone in terms of government involvement and debt. Nobody has a clue how its all going to work out.

WSJ did a story today about how the suppose taxes increases on the top 2% will pay for this, it won't, not even close. So who do you think will pay for it?

As a small business, I feel like I have a big bright bulls eye on me. Want me to expand and add jobs? Raising my taxes is not the message.

Peanut Butter Recall

Concerned about the recall but also love your peanut butter? A Michigan company, Naturally Nutty, does NOT purchase their peanuts from the companies in trouble. We also like the owners!

We made their Natural Peanut Butter our feature item, kids love and its great for a peanut butter and ham sandwich!

Eco Home Gear

We've chatted with the owner of Eco Home Gear and will be exchanging links with them. It is super when folks 'go organic' with their foods, but we also need to 'go green' in our homes. This does not have to be done all at once, so economically over time families should begin to 'green' their homes. Its better for the family and better for the environment.

Concept of Time

It is amazing to think that we know Time goes faster as we get older, yet we know it does not. Just a thought...

Another reason to stop buying food with High Fructose Corn Syrup in it.
